What: Full Time Experienced Veterinarian

Who: We are a youngish, dynamic team who love to have fun at work while dealing with the
diverse cases that come through the door. We do our very best to provide flexible working
arrangements and most of us have families that we juggle work around. We catch up socially and
are working on fostering a family culture throughout the business.

Mix: 60% Small Animal (dogs, cats, pocket pets), 19 % Cattle, 15% Sheep and Camelid, 15% Equine,
1% Pigs and Wildlife

What we offer: Two practices 25km apart with a diverse range of case load and clientele. It’s hard
to be bored in this job and there is always a challenge waiting for you with something different
around the corner. There is scope to explore whatever your interest is, with plenty of opportunity
to focus on any one area or be diverse, whichever is your preference. A focus on small animal only
would be welcome and we have all the tools to provide outstanding medicine and surgery.

Hours: Our current roster focuses on a 7 day fortnight (10 hour rostered days with an hour for
lunch) and 1 in 5 Saturday and after hours rotation.

Facilities: Purpose built clinic at Nuriootpa with recent renovations to facilitate working towards
hospital accreditation. Kapunda has also had recent renovations and while smaller, is well
equipped. The practice has full anaesthetic monitoring, in house CBC, biochemistry and clotting
time facilities, CR radiography, ultrasound, IM3 dental machine and scaler, dental radiographs,
Mistral air warmers, equine dentistry power float, separate dog and cat ward as well as large
fenced outdoor areas suitable for large animal work.

Leave: 4 weeks annual leave with 1 week of supported CE leave

Salary: $85,000-100,000 dependent on experience
